Mix CD for Erika

I want to make a mix CD for Erika, containing a Top Ten song from each year that we have been friends, or since 1995. This is what I have come up with so far (with assistance from Bing Music):

1995: When I Come Around--Green Day
Our third grade year--we were both in Ms. Moore's class. We met when she "cut" in front of me in the lunch line (she didn't know what to do), and--refusing to be a victim-- I punched her in the stomach. We became friends despite the fact that I'm a bully. One day, I wouldn't play with her, she hid under the slide and cried and everyone from students to teachers glared at me--I even got sent to the principal's office for being unpleasant.
Molly Moore was in a car accident, and had to be in physical therapy, so we made her stress balls out of wool for her to regain her hand strength, and we sewed a quilt for her. Erika stayed inside with me when I sprained my ankle, and we worked on the quilt more than anyone.
Winter was our friend, and we stood up to anyone that made fun of her.
1996: Wonderwall--Oasis
In fourth grade, Erika invited me to her birthday party, but I lost the invitation, so I showed up hours late--after everyone had gone home. It was very pathetic, me standing there in the dark holding some m&m memorabilia for a gift, hair bow on my head, being told I missed the very first party I had ever been invited to.
That year, we went to Camp Sky Ranch with the class, and got giant novelty rings with flowers in them. At school, we told Joshua Albritton that if he couldn't see our invisible animal friends, he couldn't play with us.
1997: Semi-Charmed Life--Third Eye Blind
Fifth-grade, we hung out with Barbara and Kristie. Kristie wore a Green Bay Packers coat three sizes too big for her--we four were Kristie, Barbie, Andie...and Carrot Pea! (which she hated). We would stay in the cafeteria during part of recess and help Coach Dickman sweep up because we got free ice cream for it.
There was a lot of holocaust books read to us this year, like Number the Stars. Robin Gattis's mom came to PE and showed us how to play badminton and tennis. We got the sex talk from Nurse Haney, and got plastic bags full of tampons, pads, and miniature deodorants.
1998: One Week--Barenaked Ladies
Sixth grade, we moved to the old middle school, the grungy filthy thing. We had the medieval feast in Ms. Greer's history class; my science project was how sanitary girls were compared to boys (girls were grosser, darn it all); and we started to have slumber parties to talk about the boys we were just noticing. I wore gigantic shirts of my mom's (mostly with cats on them) to hide the fact that I wasn't wearing a bra, which had to change when we had to do the scoliosis tests.
We start band together--Ms. Woods was our director, and we went to that fair to play, and found that booklet of tickets to ride that someone had droppd. There were like 22 clarinets and 3 trombones.
1999: Blue (Da Be Dee)--Eiffel 65
Seventh grade, we move to the new high school/middle school; I get involved in yearbook, and Ms. Mikel becomes our band director.
2000: Thong Song--Sisco
Eighth Grade--we go to the new middle school (finally), and they cancel the tradition of eighth grade graduation and eighth grade field trip. We do, however, go to the Holocaust museum and Chuckie Cheese's, where classmates steal light bulbs, salt and pepper shakers, and balls from the ball pit. Marching band starts this year. Ms. Beedle's aweseome history class.
2001: Drops of Jupiter--Train OR Yellow--Coldplay
2002: A Thousand Miles--Vanessa Carleton
2003: Where Is the Love--Black Eyed Peas
2004: This Love--Maroon 5
Junior year, and the year we win State Marching Band Competition!! We go to Corpus Christi
2005: Hollaback Girl--Gwen Stefani
The year we graduate!!
2006: How to Save a Life--The Fray
2007: Hey There Delilah--Plain White Tee's
2008: Pocketful of Sunshine--Natasha Bedingfield
2009: Use Somebody--Kings of Leon
2010: Alejandro--Lady Gaga OR Tik Tok--Ke$ha
