Reflections 25: Teacher

A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops. ~Henry Brooks Adams

Who was your favorite teacher? Why?

Oh, there are too many to tell.

In middle school, there was my yearbook teacher, Mrs. Greer. She also taught history and she was fantastic--I really liked her a whole lot.

Mrs. Beedle made learning really fun--some of the songs she taught me in 8th grade history, I still know. She always thought I was too bright to be in regular history.

Mrs. Redding was the Science teacher, and she always said "See you tamale!!" She was so adorable and endearing.

In high school, I always loved history, so usually the teachers that taught that were liked well enough by me.

In college, so far the only teacher that I have just outright adored--which I have had lots of great teachers, just this one really stood out as an enjoyable class--was Dr. Hawley. He taught English, and he was funny and engaging and intelligent and his classes were just enjoyable to be in.

Hopefully, I will get to take more classes with him =)
