Working on My Collection

So, I recently stumbled upon a used bookstore with a giant bookcase dedicated all to my favorite, Jude Deveraux!

I got 9, bringing my collection up to 20 total, which means I have 39 left to get before my collection game is complete! AND all nine books were only $28!

The books I got:

"The Black Lyon"
No suitor was man enough for feisty Lady Lyonene, until she met her match in the immensely rich and darkly handsome Earl Ranulf de Warbrooke, also known as "The Black Lyon." But after a whirlwind romance, their union grew stormy, tangled by jealousy, lies and misunderstandings. . . .
"The Maiden"
He was wise, strong and brave. His destiny was to be king. She was young and beautiful--a warrior princess. Her destiny was to love him. But when first they met, it was not as princess and king--it was as man and woman only, consumed by a passion so sudden and deep that the world exploded with one kiss.
"Highland Velvet"
Bronwyn MacArran was a proud Scot. Stephen Montgomery was one of the hated English. He came to Scotland as a conqueror, saw her beauty and was vanquished. But still she would abhor him. She owned a temper hot enough to forge the armors of battle or inflame a valiant soldier's passion. Yet still she would resist him. She became his reason to live, his reason to love. And still she would deny him. But while clan fought clan, while brother took up sword against brother, and the highlands ran with blood -- their destiny was made...and this mighty warrior pledged himself to his woman's pride, her honor and her name -- and made of their love a torch to burn through the ages!
"Mountain Laurel"
Captain Ring Montgomery was handsome, a skilled rider, a crack shot, popular with the men and their ladies. That was reason enough for a jealous, surly colonel to saddle Montgomery with a most peculiar assignment: to escort an opera singer into the Colorado gold fields.

Ring's plan was to scare the little lady enough so that she'd hightail it for home. After all, a Civil War was brewing! But LaReina, The Singing Duchess -- as Maddie Worth called herself on stage -- didn't scare easy. And she didn't intend to explain her reasons for coming West to any high and mighty soldier. Captain Montgomery might be smart enough to figure out that she was no European duchess, and gentleman enough not to take advantage of her when he'd had the chance, but he'd have to go on thinking she had some insane desire to sing opera to a bunch of ragtag miners. She didn't dare trust him with the truth....
"The Awakening"
Amanda Caulden led a sheltered life on her father's California ranch -- until the day Hank Montgomery stormed into town. A hot-blooded union organizer with a taste for ladies and fine champagne, he sensed the fire that smoldered beneath her prim, virtuous beauty...and he vowed to make her his.

Hank's assault on her orderly life made Amanda furious -- and all the more enticing. Slowly, he drew her into a world of sensuous pleasure: sumptuous meals and moonlit dances, carefree laughter and stolen kisses...gently stirring the sleeping embers of passion. But even as a fierce love rose between them, violent rebellion threatened to destroy the Caulden ranch -- and their lives!
"The Invitation"
Jackie O'Neill was a daredevil pilot and a true American heroine... a woman so beautiful men stopped in their tracks to watch her walk down the street, her long confident strides eating up the earth. After years of nonstop excitement -- of traveling around the globe in a chaotic rags-to-riches-to-rags whirl with her late husband, Charley -- Jackie had returned to Eternity, Colorado, near her hometown of Chandler. She wanted to put down roots, start a business, maybe someday fall in love again. But she never dreamed that the man who might make all her wishes come true was William Montgomery... little Billy, the lovesick boy who dogged her every step when she was a teenager... little Billy, who was now definitely a man, handsome, sexy, rich, and still madly in love with Jackie O'Neill....
"A Knight in Shining Armor"
Abandoned by a cruel fate, lovely, thoroughly modern Dougless Montgomery lay weeping upon a cold tombstone in an English church. Suddenly, as if in answer to her prayers, the most extraordinary man appeared.

He was Nicholas Stafford, Earl of Thornwyck...and according to his tombstone he had died in 1564. Tall, broad of shoulder, attired in gleaming silver and gold, he was magnificent. Drawn to his side by a bond so sudden and compelling it overshadowed reason, Dougless knew that Nicholas was nothing less than a miracle: a man who would not seek to change her, who found her perfect, fascinating, just as she was.

Yet she could not imagine how strong were the chains that tied them to the past...or the grand adventure that lay before them....A
"The Conquest"
Jude Deveraux is America's best-loved author of historical romance. There are 14 million copies of her books in print, and every title hits the New York Times bestseller list. With A Knight in Shining Armor, Deveraux became a New York Times bestselling hardcover and paperback author. And now Deveraux delivers The Conquest, the triumphant sequel to The Taming, returning to the fascinating medieval setting to continue the breathtaking Peregrine saga.

I think I got them all!!
